Three property industry professionals have announced the launch of a new digital platform that will provide information about property chains.
This is called CentreMove and it has been set up by Gordon Sewell, Wayne Quinn and Jennifer Sewell. What it offers is real-time property chain information designed to keep everyone involved in the loop. This means people who are selling or buying a property, mortgage advisors, estate agents, and conveyancing solicitors in North Wales or elsewhere.
CentreMove will make it much easier for all of them to keep each other informed and stay on top of events. The site offers a single picture of a property chain that each has access to. It is instantly updated if anything happens that affects the chain.
The founders of CentreMove intend it to be an alternative to communicating via email forwarding or telephone. These can be unreliable and sometimes lead to people not receiving important updates until it is too late.
The platform has a chain tracking tool that involves six steps. It comes with green-amber and red alerts, based on urgency. It also requires Land Registry and identity checks before properties can be listed and lets sellers deal with legal matters upfront. This should reduce conveyancing delays.
